HTU Council Election: Fate of Four Candidates slated for Monday

The Office of the Registrar has published names of four candidates who are eligible to contest as convocation representatives on the University Council in line with Statute 47 of Ho Technical University Statutes.

They include two each from teaching staff and non teaching staff.


The teaching staff slot would be contested by two senior lecturers, Dr. John Coker Ayimah of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and Dr. Richard Fiifi Turkson of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.



Voters are to also make a choice from two senior assistant registrars, Isaac Sawadong Meyir and Edem Honu on Monday, March 1, 2021.

Three Hundred and Fifty One (351) convocation members are to cast their vote.



A simple majority is required for each candidate to be duly elected.
